Model 630 PMC - Oscillate Winding System

PROGRESSIVE MACHINE CO INC, introduces our Model "630 PMC" multi-station, oscillate winding system for the winding of ferrous and non-ferrous metal strip. It is designed specifically for winding directly from a slitter, but can be used in any heavy duty rewind application.

The Model 630 PMC features up to, but is not limited to, 12 individual winding stations coordinated through The Progressive "Accu-Wind" computer control system. Individual 630 stations feature a cantilevered shaft for supporting either spools or cores weighing up to 3500 lbs. Each is equipped with a 10 H.P. four quadrant regenerative drive capable of providing up to 150 lbs. of material tension and is capable of maintaining line speeds of up to 750 fpm.

System control is provided by the exclusive "Accu-Wind" computer system. This is a completely integrated machine management approach that incorporates all machine functions and winding patterns into a closely supervised and controlled system. The ability to reproduce packages exactly on either spools or cores makes this system ideal for high volume applications in either steel or soft metal operations.

Options include:
Alarms, either a light or bell to alert operators to specific conditions.
Hardened Rollers for extended service life in severe applications.
