Optical Image Technology Recognized at AIIM 2007 in Boston

Award presented for innovation; customer Michigan Millers lauded for technology solution

STATE COLLEGE, Pa., April 23 // -- Optical Image Technology (OIT) was presented the ECM Connection ACE Award in the banking and finance category and was recognized for Michigan Millers Mutual Insurance Company's implementation of OIT's DocFinity(R) suite in Integrated Solutions' I-Cubed Award ceremony at the AIIM Conference on April 18. Both the ACE Award and the recognition of Michigan Millers were based on OIT's DocFinity suite of workflow and document management software. The award and recognition were given during AIIM at the Boston Convention Center by representatives from ECM Connection and Integrated Solutions magazine.

The ACE Award recognizes companies for their achievements based on Appeal, Content, and Education within the marketplace. OIT was honored for its innovative, feature-rich products, the resources offered to the company's customers via the company's website and marketing collateral, and its outstanding outreach programs and services. Industry analysts and editors, as well as ECM Connection's voting readership, selected OIT for its innovative contributions.

Michigan Millers Mutual Insurance Company, a longstanding customer of OIT, was also recognized as a national finalist for the I-Cubed Award from Integrated Solutions magazine. The I-Cubed Awards recognize end users that have implemented outstanding document and content management technology solutions in their organizations. Greg Cook, Imaging Support Technician for Michigan Millers, accepted a plaque on behalf of the company for its achievements and unique application of technology. The company was lauded for its enterprise-wide implementation of Optical Image Technology's DocFinity suite and the business efficiency they have achieved, specifically with the automated workflow and email management products.
