New Providence, NJ - Aromat Corporation announces the release of the A230 OCR Series Industrial Image processing devices. The A230 OCR (Optical Character Recognition) MICRO-IMAGECHECKER is a high speed, dual camera image-processing device, providing 512 X 480 pixel resolution, 256 gray scale, five user customizable character dictionaries and it does not require a PC or network connection to be programmed or setup.
A230 OCR MICRO-IMAGECHECKER includes five character dictionaries for maximum flexibility. Its first and second dictionaries provide standard OCR-A and OCR-B fonts respectively. The remaining dictionaries provide user-assign characters, which allow the user to customize the IMAGECHECKER to detect special fonts. Additionally it includes comprehensive image processing tools, such as automatic image retention memory (8 images), smart matching (automatic pattern detection), Optical Character Verification, and multiple communication protocols for Mitsubishi, Omron, Allen Bradley (to be release) and NAiS FP Series PLC from Aromat. The software is designed to be flexible and intuitive, and it provides password protection features to lock out unwanted users.
A230 OCR MICRO-IMAGECHECKER is suitable for any application which requires stringent quality control, and maximum defect containment for federally regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and packaging industries.
