MTS Provides Stand Alone LCD Interface Terminal For Level Plus® Data

CL01 shows level, interface and temperature measurements simultaneously...

CARY, N.C. (January 13, 2003) - MTS Sensors Division announced the availability of a new LCD operator interface terminal for use with its Level Plus® Digital (MG) liquid level sensors. Designated the CL01 LCD Interface Terminal, the device is a stand-alone LCD readout screen with expanded keypad functionality. The CL01 is able to provide at-a-glance level, temperature and interface measurements quickly and simultaneously from both the MTS DDA or the Modbus RTU interface.

The device is also designed with a diagnostic screen to monitor trigger levels and error flags to help engineers quickly troubleshoot problems in the field.

"The CL01 is an ideal way to quickly monitor liquid level data on one screen," said Level Products Marketing Manager, Adrian Totten. "And because the device stands alone, engineers don't have to worry about climbing large tanks in order to get readings. The CL01 may be used at ground level to monitor remotely."

Standard features include a two line by twenty character liquid crystal display with LED backlight, selectable address keys for quick set-up and convenient toggle keys to quickly alternate between data and diagnostic screens.

The CL01 offers agency approvals for use in Class I, II and III/Division 2 hazardous locations with gas groups B(Hydrogen), C(Ethylene), D(Propane), F(Carbonaceous dusts) and G(Grain dusts).

The LCL01 is ideal for the petrochemical, propane, pharmaceutical, food & beverage and utility industries. Applications include tank-side indications, stand alone monitoring, panel mount or use in NEMA enclosures.
