Stoody® 600 Welding Wire Withstands High Stress Applications



St. Louis - September 2, 2002 - Stoody® 600 open arc welding wire has excellent abrasion and impact resistance, making it a good choice for high stress applications.

Stoody 600, which produces a titanium carbide bearing deposit, assures good operational characteristics and easier slag removal than other titanium carbide wires. Its strength and durability make it ideal for applications including high pressure cement rolls, bucket lips, muller tires, hammer crushers, tillage tools, chisel plows and tamper feet.

The wire is available in 7/64" (2.8mm), 3/32" (2.4mm) or 1/16" (1.6mm) diameters. The 7/16" diameter wire has a 45-550 amperage range, 30-32 voltage range, and 1½" wire extension; 3/32" wire has a 400-500 amperage range, 28-30 voltage range and 1½" wire extension; and 1/16" diameter wire has a 225-275 amperage range, 21-24 voltage range and ¾"-1" wire extension.
