NCMA Announces Launch of Online Education Center to Support Professional Certification and Continuing Education Requirements



General Business Prep Courses Are Initial Phase of Online Curriculum Being Developed to Support NCMA's Federal, Commercial and Professional Certification Programs

VIENNA, Va., Jan. 14 - The National Contract Management Association (NCMA), the preeminent source of professional development for the practice of contract management, and Reston, VA-based VCampus Corporation (NASDAQ:VCMP), a provider of comprehensive e-Learning publishing and hosting services to corporate, government, association and higher education organizations, today announced the launch of the new NCMA Online Education Center designed to support certification preparation and continuing education requirements of contract management professionals worldwide.

The Online Education Center, available at vcampus.com/ncma, features a robust curriculum of online courses covering the General Business Contract Management Body of Knowledge (CMBOK) and prepares candidates for the General Business Module of the NCMA certification program. Courses are available in curriculum bundles, with each bundle corresponding to a specific portion of the General Business CMBOK. The following curriculum bundles are available:
o Management
o Marketing
o Operations Management
o Finance
o Accounting and Economics
o Quantitative Methods

Completion of these course bundles earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs), which can be used toward satisfying the continuing professional education requirements for certification or re-certification. Costs of the online courses will range from $125 and up for individual purchasers, with corporate and NCMA member discounts available.

Phase two of the NCMA Online Education Center will include the development and delivery of an online curriculum to support the Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) and the Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) credentials offered by NCMA. The first course being developed, the Certified Federal Contracts Manager Online Prep Course, is scheduled to launch in March, 2005.
