With the newly launched On2 Flash 8 Video SDK, On2 is providing this development community with the tools to integrate powerful new Flash 8 video encoding capabilities directly into any application, including video editing, video blogging, 3D graphics, multimedia presentation and web publishing.
Available as a Microsoft DirectShow® filter, the On2 Flash 8 Video SDK can be used with the DirectShow programming interfaces in Windows, enabling developers to create Flash 8 (.FLV) output directly from a DirectShow-enabled application. This capability significantly increases the number of options available to application developers, who are eager to create Flash 8 video while leveraging DirectShow's familiar interfaces and development methods. DirectShow is the industry-standard architecture for multimedia in Windows.
