OK International's SMT China Vision Award was accepted by the company's Paul Wood at an awards luncheon held in Shanghai on April 20th. This prestigious award program was set up to recognize international and domestic SMT equipment, materials and service providers which have made outstanding contributions to the rapid development of China's electronics manufacturing industry. Judged by an independent panel of electronics manufacturing technology experts and SMT China readers, OK International's MRS-1000 Modular Rework System was recognized as having made an important contribution in the field of rework and repair.

Highly versatile and integrating advanced rework technologies, the MRS-1000 comprises a handheld convection tool with a wide array of nozzles, pre-heater, adjustable tool holder with board holder, and light magnifier. Capable of handling PCBs up to 12" x 12" or above using the stand-alone BH-1000 Board Holder, the manually-assisted rework system is equipped to process components up to 40mm x 40mm, making it a flexible solution processes requiring increased control.
