Oil and Gas Union Sales Remain Steady

Working with several companies in North America, Rotary Systems continues to produce large multi-passage rotary unions for use in Oil and Gas exploration. These unions feature 9 to 14 passages and bore sizes of up to 8.5" with optional integrated slip rings. Rotary Systems' rotating unions for oil and gas are available in carbon or stainless steels and feature a hardened shaft and proprietary carbon-fiber impregnated Teflon seals.

Rotary unions are used in:

Coil Tubing Drilling - Four to 16 passage unions for delivery of hydraulic and drilling fluid to and from the drill head.

Rotary Directional Drilling - Often equipped with an electrical slip ring, these unions are used for three-dimensional control and monitoring of the drill bit during drilling.

Pipe-Laying Equipment - Hydraulic rotary unions allow 360 rotation of the cab with respect to the chassis for improved efficiency.

Offshore Hose Reels - Corrosion-resistant stainless steel unions used to deliver environmentally-safe hydraulic fluid and pressure to offshore drilling equipment.

Top Drives - Multi passage, through-bore rotary swivels designed to deliver hydraulic power to and from the elevator and the rotating head.
