McGill Nylon Plugs & Connectors Feature Textured Grip for Improved Safety in Commercial Settings

ROSEMONT, IL, JULY 29, 2005 - Providing electrical contractors and MRO's with wiring solutions that are dependable, safe and easy to install, McGill offers its economical Safety Grip line of 15 Amp nylon plugs and connectors.

Constructed of impact- and chemical-resistant nylon, the 2 pole, 3-wire straight blade plugs and connectors withstand punishing commercial settings, such as machine shops, maintenance garages and other areas where connectors are subjected to rough handling, long hours and hard floors. Their high-visibility yellow nylon promotes safety on a job site, reducing accidents by being easy to see. Plus, by slightly recessing the cord-grip screws, screwdriver slippage is reduced, further improving safety.

Non-metallic cord grips feature a tapered housing, plus a textured surface for a safer, more secure feel for the user. Heavy-duty plug blades and connector contacts resist heat and provide excellent conductivity.

McGill Safety Grip plugs and connectors are UL Listed, plus meet OSHA, NEMA and ANSI requirements.
