Fujitsu Flagship Consumer Notebook Delivers Exceptional Entertainment Experience
SUNNYVALE, Calif., Feb. 7 / -- Fujitsu Computer Systems today announced the availability of the LifeBook(R) N6410 notebook, a Media Center PC that delivers an outstanding entertainment experience by combining Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 with the quick responsiveness delivered by Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo mobile technology.
Equipped with the new power-efficient dual-core Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo processor, the LifeBook N6410 notebook, flagship of the Fujitsu consumer portfolio, easily handles multiple computing demands such as watching a movie while downloading photos. An equally impressive sight and sound experience is delivered on a large 17-inch wide glossy Color-Enhanced Crystal View WXGA+ TFT LCD display. With a color saturation of 72 percent and a 40 percent brighter display than the standard TFT screen, the LifeBook 6410 notebook exploits a DVD player's potential by producing razor sharp detail, rich colors, and subtle shadows and shading.
Stunning graphics are delivered by the ATI Mobility(TM) Radeon(R) x1400 graphics controller with 256MB HyperMemory(TM)(1) offering the high level of performance gamers and technology enthusiasts demand. Dazzling imagery that moves and responds seamlessly is achieved with up to 2 GB of dual channel DDR2 667MHz memory. Storage is abundant, even for the most ambitious data collectors with Serial ATA support and dual hard drives with a maximum storage capacity of 320 GB, the largest hard drive combination on the market.
Fujitsu engineering has brought a new level of refinement to the LifeBook N6410 notebook's built-in stereo sound system, which includes an integrated subwoofer. By applying innovative sound technology to the notebook computer chassis, rich tone quality and excellent base response is attained without enlarging the system.

The LifeBook N6410 notebook is equipped with many built-in media ports including a dedicated Memory Stick(R)/SD/xD Picture card slot, and dedicated ExpressCard(TM) slot making downloading home movies and photos from a digital camera and burning them onto a CD or DVD quick and easy. Save music and data to a CD, synchronize a PDA, or connect to practically any peripheral on the market. With the addition of a media panel, located above the keyboard, playing digital media is just a button push away. An optional built-in TV tuner and remote control are also offered for the Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 operating system.

The LifeBook N6410 notebook, with pricing starting at $1,649(2) for a base configuration, is available through the Fujitsu direct sales force, website, channel partners and select retail outlets(3). Users can choose from a recommended configuration, or they can customize their system using the Fujitsu Configure To Order (CTO) program.
Service and Support
The Fujitsu LifeBook N6410 notebook is backed by a one or three-year International Limited Warranty for U.S. and Canadian customers. The International Limited Warranty includes technical support, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.(4) In addition, users can add Fujitsu extended service plans, which include an on-site service or a screen protection plan.
