This powerful system offers a bright 15.4-inch widescreen, which offers more viewing area than standard TFT screens. Its additional space enables increased productivity for spreadsheet and multimedia applications. In addition, the Z60m offers an array of multimedia ports and graphic choices including: 3USB, 1394, 3-1 digital media reader, and up to 128 MB discrete graphics.

Unique data protection
The most secure notebooks available are now even better. Selected models include integrated fingerprint reader technology from ThinkVantage(TM) technologies to help prevent unauthorized access to your ThinkPad notebook and data. The Active Protection System(TM), a ThinkVantage technology, helps protect your HDD from some damage that could be caused by shock. A system board-mounted sensor continuously monitors your ThinkPad notebook for sudden movement, and temporarily parks the HDD read/write head when a fall or similar event is predicted.
