New Non-Aqueous Chiller Fluid for Tough Processing Applications
Conshohocken, PA: (July 30, 2003) -- Paratherm Corporation is introducing Paratherm LR(TM), a. new single fluid, low-range heat transfer fluid rated for service from -40°F to +400°F (-40°C to 204°C). It is non-aromatic, non-aqueous and non-toxic as well as versatile and highly reliable.
Processors can count on this crystal clear fluid for extended service in a broad range of heat/chill applications which include specialty chemicals batch processing and pharmaceuticals production plus a range of other continuous closed-loop processes. The LR Fluid can also be used as a substitute in secondary coolant ("brine") systems, and in condensers where water contamination can pose significant safety issues.
Users will find the new LR Fluid is plant-friendly, environmentally safe and problem-free. There are no chlorinated hydrocarbons, aromatics, heavy metals, compounds of sulfur and nitrogen or other SARA-reportable substances present in the LR Fluid. For disposal users can combine it with other spent lubricating oils and send it to the recycler.
