Sandmeyer Steel Company Adds A330 Plate, a Heat Resistant Nickel Alloy



Philadelphia, PA - September 27, 2005

Sandmeyer Steel Company has added Alloy 330 (UNS N08330) to its extensive line of heat resistant stainless steel and nickel alloy plate products. Alloy 330 is an austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy developed to provide resistance to carburizing and oxidizing atmospheres at elevated temperatures. The addition of A330 will enable SSC to better service the thermal processing, chemical and petrochemical, and power generation industries.

The Company currently stocks heat resistant stainless and nickel alloy plate in grades 304H, 321/321H, 347/347H, 309S, 310S, A600, A625, A800, A800H, and A800AT.
