Nickel Alloy is designed for low/high temperature welding.

Press Release Summary:

Arcos 392 (ERNiCrFe-6) is intended for cladding steel with nickel-chromium-iron weld metal and for joining steel and stainless steel to nickel-base alloys. Weld deposits can be age-hardened with degree of hardness depending on time and temperature. Alloy is suited for welding in cryogenic and elevated temperature (up to 1,800°F) environments such as power generation plants, petrochemical facilities, and furnace equipment.

Arcos High Nickel Alloy Designed for Low/High Temperature Welding

Date: March 31, 2008

Mount Carmel, PA ---Arcos Industries, LLC has introduced Arcos 392, which is primarily utilized for welding applications where superior corrosion resistance from cryogenic to elevated temperatures is needed.

Arcos 392 (ERNiCrFe-6) was developed for cladding steel with nickel-chromium-iron weld metal and for joining steel and stainless steel to nickel-base alloys. Weld deposits can be age-hardened with the degree of hardness depending on the time and temperature.

Arcos 392 is well suited for welding in cryogenic and elevated temperature (up to 1800 degrees F) environments such as power generation plants, petrochemical facilities and furnace equipment.
