Release features time-saving enhancements for Wijmo, ComponentOne, and ComponentOne Studio for Xamarin
PITTSBURGH, July 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- GrapeCity, a global provider of award-winning enterprise software development tools today announced its second major round of 2018 software releases, which includes Wijmo Designer, a web-based designer that enables developers to easily set properties in a code-free, visual environment. Editable controls include FlexGrid, FlexSheet, FlexChart, Input, Gauge, Nav, and OLAP. The powerful new Wijmo Designer VSCode Extension enables designers to edit the properties of a Wijmo control in a visual interface and then immediately view the changes to the code in another VSCode tab. Wijmo has also switched to Sass-based stylesheets, which will further decrease the size of the Wijmo controls and improve performance. In addition, a new cryptocurrency financial app models how to use the enterprise-grade FinancialChart control in a real-life setting.
In the world of .NET, ComponentOne Studio Enterprise has launched several new controls, including Dashboard Layout for WinForms and ASP.NET MVC. Developers can build BI dashboards for .NET apps by embedding grids, charts, and gauges into the layout control. Options include a variety of layouts and built in-features like drag and drop, maximize and restore, and save and load. ComponentOne TabPanel for ASP.NET MVC has also been included in this release, providing simple and effective navigation control that can be embedded into panels. There are also new barcodes, including Code 11, ISBN, Pharmacode, and IntelligentMailPackage, just to name a few.
Data Visualization enhancements have also been made to FlexChart with the addition of a HeatMap chart, new histogram variations, and a new Ichimoku cloud overlay for FinancialChart.
There have also been enhancements named to FlexGrid in ComponentOne Studio for Xamarin, including the KeyActionTab property for Excel-like tab cycling, and input enhancements such as AutoCompleteMode to adjust both the filter and highlighting behavior of AutoComplete and allows StartsWith, EndsWith, and Contains.
