New Version of Captaris RightFax® Supports Fax-over-IP Deployments with Cantata's Brooktrout SR140
BELLEVUE, Wash., Nov. 9 -- Captaris, Inc. (NASDAQ:CAPA), a leading provider of software products that automate document-centric business processes, today announced the release of Captaris RightFax 9.3 Feature Pack 1. The latest version of the world's leading fax server and electronic document delivery solution includes new support for Cantata Technology's Brooktrout SR140(TM), a software-based, real-time Fax-over-IP (FoIP) platform.
The combined RightFax-Brooktrout solution enables companies to slash the total cost of faxing by:
o easing deployment with an all-software fax server solution;
o unifying voice, fax and data communication onto a single IP network;
o eliminating fax machines and consumables by leveraging multifunction
peripherals with RightFax;
o centralizing and consolidating fax services to reduce remote
administration costs.
