  • Programable 7 in. touchscreen ideal for power and sail boats
  • Accepts inputs from two engines
  • Easy plug and play installation

Allentown, PA April 15, 2019 – Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket, supplier of OE-engineered instrumentation and accessories for the marine market, offers the new VDO Marine OceanLink 7 in. TFT Gateway Display as an easy plug and play solution for both powerboat and sail applications. This innovative NMEA 2000-certified, multifunctional monitor and gateway device displays a wide array of vessel data on a new, large easy to read 7 in. screen. The display accepts inputs for two power boat engines and tanks, and can present sail-specific screens to show wind speed, wind angle, and apparent wind. It features a full 24 bit / 16 million color optically bonded display with transmissive layer technology for excellent readability, even in direct sunlight.

Offering a wide range of inputs, the VDO display accepts 6x 0-4000hm inputs, 2x 4-20mA inputs, 2x J1939 inputs, 3x 05V inputs, 1x Alarm inputs, and 2x RGB video inputs. All inputs are easily programmed with the built in GUI-driven setup screen. The display also has Navigation and Mast Wind pages and features a Night/Day mode for easier viewing and includes a new swipe function that allows users to swipe horizontally or vertically on the touchscreen to move between pages and displays. Three Favorite Touch buttons on the display bring users to their most important pages.

The VDO Marine OceanLink TFT displays and distributes a wide array of data received from NMEA 2000® networks, as well as J1939 CAN Bus systems and analog sensors when they are directly connected to the display. Users can customize up to 40 different data pages with single, double, triple, or quad grid layouts.

The VDO OceanLink TFT can send the J1939 or analog signals received to both the NMEA 2000 network, as well as up to 20 satellite 52 mm OceanLink gauges. Because the OceanLink 7 in. TFT has a separate power source, it can support 20 additional gauges with no additional load on the NMEA network.
