TRUMPower’s New 40W Medical Grade IP22 Rated Wall Mount Adapter with Interchangeable AC Blades for Home Healthcare Use
August 2019 ― Santa Clara, California ― TRUMPower announces its new TXM40 wall mount adapter series designed to meet home healthcare safety standards and pass IEC 60601-1-11 certification testing when submitted for evaluation as part of a complete system.
The 40W power supply comes with a wide range of 11 standard single output voltages between 5 and 48 VDC with efficiency ranging between 85% and 87.59%, model dependent. The power supply has class II construction with 2 MOPP and meets IP22, CEC level VI requirements.
The units feature an input range of 90 to 275 VAC and come in an interchangeable wall mount form factor which is able to be equipped with AC plugs for the US, UK, EU, and Australia. This power adapter has operating temperatures between -20°C to +70°C ambient, while derating linearly from 100% load at +40°C to 50% load at +70°C. The units have 200,000 hours minimum MTBF at full load and 25°C ambient, calculated per MIL-HDBK-217F. They are designed for operation in up to 5,000 meters altitude.
The TXM40 series is approved by UL, cUL and TUV to the latest medical standards, including IEC/EN/UL 60601-1 Edition 3.1, ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1:2012, and CSA C22.2 No. 60601-1:2014. The power adapter complies with IEC/EN 60601-1-2 4th edition medical EMC and immunity standards, including EN 55011, VCCI and FCC class B (conducted and radiated emissions), EN 61000-3-2, EN 61000-3-3, EN 61000-4-2 (ESD at ±15 KV air and ±8 KV contact), EN 61000-4-3, EN 61000-4-4, EN 61000-4-5, EN 61000-4-6, EN 61000-4-8, EN 61000-4-11.
