Harmonic Drive LLC Announces Super-flat Actuators for Robotics
Peabody, MA, July 17, 2018 –Harmonic Drive LLC, the leader in high precision motion control announces super-flat actuators. The new ultra-flat, ultra-light brushless actuators combine our high-precision/high-performance reducers with a compact, high-output brushless DC motor. This new series is ideal for a wide range of applications such as AGV wheel drives and powered exoskeletons.

FLA actuators are available with our high-speed, high-efficiency Harmonic Planetary® gearhead or with our high-precision, hightorque Harmonic Drive® reducer. The FLA actuator with our FB Harmonic Drive® reducer is available with 50:1 or 100:1 ratios. The HP version features our Harmonic Planetary® gearhead with 8:1 and 9:1 ratios. We offer both 24VDC and 48VDC versions to work with battery-powered applications. The high performance, compact configuration and low-weight of the FLA actuator makes it ideal for AGV wheel drives and powered exoskeletons.
