Optek Wide Gap Sensors in Stock at TTI
Fort Worth, Texas – June 1, 2021 – TTI, Inc., a leading specialty distributor of electronic components, is now stocking the OPB900 - OPB913 series of Wide Gap Transmissive Sensors from TT Electronics - Optek. This sensor is targeted for medical and industrial applications, machine safety and automation equipment.
The TT Electronics – Optek’s OPB900 - OPB913 series of Photologic® Integrated Circuit Switches provide optimum flexibility for the design engineer. Building from a standard housing with a 0.375” (9.5mm) wide slot, a user can specify the type and polarity of the TTL output and the type of shell material. Electrical output can be specified as either TTL Totem Pole (buffered) or TTL Open Collector, either of which can be supplied with an inverted output polarity.
The opaque plastic housing reduces possible interference from ambient light and provides protection from dust and dirt. Photodetector switching occurs when an opaque object or encoder wheel passes through the device slot.
