OptoSigma Launches New MHX Series of High-Stability Optical Mirror Mounts

MHX mounts are compact, affordable, and designed to provide maximum stability for sensitive optical applications.

Santa Ana, CA (January 27, 2020) – OptoSigma Corporation announced the release of the new MHX Series of stainless-steel mirror mounts. Made for standard 25.4 mm (1 in.) mirrors, this high-stability holder features a hollow-frame design which provides higher moment of inertia to maximize stiffness. It also has reduced mass sections, allowing it to reach thermal equilibrium faster than traditionally designed mounts.

“Thermal repeatability tests validate the effectiveness of this new frame design showing lower deflection with equivalent repeatability against rival mounts.
