High Performance Low Noise Ku Band PLO

Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant fixed frequency phase locked loop model that is sure to enhance any application needing premium performance while operating in the Ku band region. The SFS14000H-LF is a plug and play PLO allowing for quick and simple integration into any system design. It is specified to produce a fixed signal output at 14.0 GHz while locked to an external 100 MHz reference oscillator source. This simple to use PLO features unmatched low phase noise performance of -93dBc/Hz, -96dBc/Hz and -116dBc/Hz at the 1kHz, 10kHz and 100kHz offsets, respectively.

The SFS14000H-LF is designed to deliver an output power of -3 dBm into a 50 ohm load while operating off a VCO voltage supply of 5Vdc and drawing 85mA and a phase locked loop voltage of 3.3Vdc while drawing 40mA. This unmatched product features a typical harmonic suppression of -20dBc and spurious suppression of -65dBc. It is housed in Z-COMM’s standard SFS-L1 package measuring 1.0 in. x 1.0 in. x 0.22 in. The SFS14000H-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and is available in tape and reel packaging.
