Wiegmann Introduces New Thermal Products
South Bend, Indiana July 10, 2018 -Wiegmann has introduced a new line of thermal accessories for electrical enclosures. These new products provide a complete range of options for maintaining conditions for enclosed electrical equipment. Wiegmann, part of Hubbell Commercial Construction, provides innovative electrical products to OEM, industrial and commercial markets.
Wiegmann's updated thermal products are designed to better suit the needs of contractors, offering a wider selection than previous accessories. Featuring rugged construction, these items help maintain optimal temperatures, control humidity, prevent condensation and corrosion.
Two new side-mount air conditioner lines feature lighter weight designs with new sizes and capacities. The Slimkool series replaces the company's previous Trimline series. Guardian and Guardian X series replace previous Advantage and Integrity series models. Capacities across the lines provide a range of 2,000 to 13,000 BTU/H. Options include painted steel or NEMA 4X stainless steel and 115V, 230V or 480V input.
Other new accessories include fans, filters, exhaust grilles, fan heaters, radiant heaters, thermostats, humidistats and hygrostats. All feature more compact designs and/or additional larger sizes for more options. New fans range from 29 to 547 CFM. New thermostats and mechanical hygrostats maintain normally open (filter fan) or normally closed (heater) conditions within Wiegmann electrical enclosures. Many of these products offer NEMA 12 (indoor) or NEMA 3R (outdoor) versions.
Wiegmann's new thermal accessories enhance the performance of electrical enclosures used in a variety of applications, including Food & Beverage Processing, Washdown Areas, Corrosive Environments, Harsh Locations, Process, Automation, Waste Water Treatment, Oil/Gas Pharmaceutical, Mining or Coastal Installations.
