New ConnectWise Solutions Meet 'Red Hot' I.T. Services Demand


ConnectWise announces new solutions at Sold-Out Partner Summit to help IT services firms drive service excellence in 'Red Hot' IT outsourcing market

TAMPA, Fla., Nov. 21 - ConnectWise ( www.connectwise.com/), a maker of software for running IT and other Professional Services firms, announced two new solutions at the sold-out ConnectWise Partner Summit, held in Tampa early this month: a new Managed Services Platform to support IT department outsourcing, and a National Shared Services Network to unite ConnectWise partners through the shared PSA technology platform. The Managed Services Platform was released last week and the Shared Services Network will be released within the next three months.

Both are hailed as visionary in their anticipation of IT industry changes, according to Steven Burke, a CRN columnist ( www.crn.com/ ) that covered the summit, "We are experiencing an outsourced IT Services boom, and many VARS predict record SMB services sales. There is a big opportunity in this market, with many companies placing bets to unite solution providers. The Managed Services Platform allows ConnectWise partners to extend the use of their end-to-end business management software through integration with managed services providers Kaseya, N-able and Level Platforms, enabling them to offer virtual IT departments as outsourced offerings to their small- and medium-sized business customers from their ConnectWise PSA platform. Additional tools included in the solution allow providers to maintain the high level of service excellence they are able to achieve with ConnectWise PSA, arming partners to "own their space and protect their turf against the 'big boys' that want to go after the IT services market," says Arnie Bellini, President of ConnectWise.

The National Shared Services Network is being launched in response to numerous requests from partners, who have expressed an interest in collaborating with like-minded organizations that demonstrate the same best- practice service levels.
