Wire Guards Help Prevent Damage to Smoke Detectors

STI is proud to introduce their heavy-duty 9-gauge Steel Web Stoppers®. These corrosion resistant polyester coated cages help protect smoke detectors where abuse is severe. They are called Steel Web Stoppers because they incorporate a patented web-like octagon shape that simulates a spider’s web for added strength.
These easy to install Stoppers, for flush or surface mount applications, allow the LED indicator on the protected smoke detectors to remain clearly visible. For added protection against abuse, tamper resistant hardware is available.
STI guarantees the guards for three years against breakage in normal use. UL Listed, CSFM and MEA Approved. Several smoke detector guard models and sizes are available along with a variety of additional wire guards for motion detectors, emergency lights, clocks, and more.
