ROHM’s BD8379FV-M is a serial-in, parallel-out controlled LED driver with a 35V output voltage rating. Offered in an SSOP-B20 SMT package with the inputs of 3-line serial data, it turns the 12-channel open drain output on and off. Due to its compact size, it is optimal for limited space applications. Key features include open drain output, 3-line serial control and enable signal along with cascade connection compatibility and an internal 12-channel power transistor for added functionality. These LED drivers are AEC-Q101 qualified, making them suitable for medical and automotive applications demanding increased reliability.
