GeoVision Launches the GV-Tower NVR System



Designed for businesses and corporations, the compact GV-Tower NVR System offers up to 32 channels of IP cameras. It is equipped with 4 hot swappable bays for easy removal of data hard disk drives (HDD), and provides up to 12 terabytes of storage. It utilizes Windows 7, and runs on Intel Core i3 processor and features state of the art GeoVision graphical user interface system. Remote viewing is available on all smart phones and tablets.



Compact NVR Tower from Geovision with 32 Channels of IP Cameras, Now Available



2M CCTV announced today the release of the new GeoVision GV-Tower NVR System.



Grand Prairie, TX – 2M CCTV (http://www.2mcctv.com/) today has extended its GeoVision network video recorder line and introduced the latest product by GeoVision, the GV-Tower NVR System. The NVR supports up to 32 IP cameras and 32 audio channels. It comes in a compact (10.24 x 5.51 x 10.24 in), sleek, black, robust design.



The network video recorder is composed of 4-bay hot swap data HDDs, 6 USB ports, VGA and HDMI video inputs, 2 Ethernet ports, and 2 fan units.



The 4 hot swappable bays offer a maximum of 12 terabytes of storage, while the VGA and HDMI inputs support dual monitor displays.



The GV-Tower NVR System runs on an Intel Core i3 processor and utilizes 64-bit Windows 7 embedded system.



Customers can view any camera live or play back from their iPhone, Android, Symbian, Windows phone, Blackberry, and any tablet.



GPU decoding is supported as are 3rd party IP cameras (with H.264). Live view, playback, recording, backup, and CMS are all available with the GeoVision software, which this NVR provides.



Video analysis, such as advanced motion detection, privacy masking, scene change detection, and counter are standard on this NVR.



After AC power loss, the power is automatically restored. The system comes with two watchdogs, a hardware watchdog and a software watchdog for monitoring.
