Komodo Laboratories announces the latest release of it's NEWT Professional network inventory tool.
After a year of hard work, we've switched to a entirely new scan technology. This allows faster audit speeds, a reduction in bandwidth usage as well as lessening scan errors that plague other tools. And while we've increase scan speed by up to 50 times over previous versions, we won't stop there. We're working to make NEWT Pro a solution you can't live without.
New major improvements include:
o New scan methods allow for extreme scan speed. Scan 100 computers in under 5 minutes.
o Scan errors due to WMI misconfigurations are almost non-existent.
o All data is compressed, greatly reducing network bandwidth use to just 25 kilobytes per second each way.
