Axiomtek Launched High Performance Intel® Xeon® E3 Network Appliance Platform with Three Front Accessible Expansion Slots, max. 26 Gigabit LANs - NA552



Taipei, Taiwan — Axiomtek today introduces NA552, an extremely high-performance 1U rackmountable network appliance platform with maximum 26 Gigabit Ethernet ports and up to 12 LAN bypass segments for medium and enterprise business markets. The outstanding NA552 supports the 3rd Generation Intel® Xeon® processor E3 series with Intel® C216 chipset as well as supports four high bandwidth DDR3 1333 MHz unbuffered non-ECC/ECC DIMM sockets with up to 32 GB memory. Considering to flexible design for users, the reliable NA552 offers three front-accessible slots for PCIe LAN modules. The selection of extending PCIe Gigabit modules with multiple copper and fiber ports includes:

• 2-port fiber module with/without LAN bypass function - AX93307-2FI and AX93307-2FIL

The slim-type unit features two internal SATA 2.5” hard drives and CompactFlash™ socket for storing event log. For easy access, the front panel has one RJ console ports, two high-speed USB 2.0 ports, and thoughtful LED indicators that monitor power and HDD activities. The rear panel provides one VGA connector. Moreover, this powerful 1U network appliance platform supports mainstream Linux operating systems.
