Rapid Deployment Features Key to Selection of M-Tech's Solution
Calgary, AB - November 15, 2005 - M-Tech Information Technology, Inc., a leading provider of identity management (IdM) solutions, today announced that one of its international integrators has deployed M-Tech's leading solution at the National Assembly of Wales.
The National Assembly for Wales employs over 5,000 staff and contractors providing services to 3 million residents of Wales, UK. The Assembly required an identity management solution to reduce IT costs, strengthen information security and improve user productivity.
M-Tech's integration partner was able to deploy the Suite on its own, without assistance required from M-Tech. M-Tech's identity management solutions are designed for rapid deployment and the integrator was able to evaluate, pilot, customize and validate the solution within weeks.
Key to the selection of M-Tech solutions is the availability of the secure kiosk account (SKA), which M-Tech first introduced to the market in 2001. The P-Synch SKA allows users who either forgot their network password or triggered a lockout, and so cannot sign into their own workstation, to securely access a self service password reset user interface from their login prompt. The secure kiosk account is unique as it does not require installation of any software on user workstations.
