Nanmac's High Temp Thermocouple Getting Good Results for Heavy Industry
April 21, 2008, Framingham MA-Nanmac Corporation, leading supplier of thermocouples to industry since 1956, has re-engineered their most popular thermocouple, which is relied on by industry, research, and government installations the world over.
This line of products is especially designed for the temperature range from 2000 degrees F to 5,000 degrees F, with different metal alloys based on the desired application and needed temperature range.
These temperature sensors, known as A12A, contain an ungrounded Thermocouple assembly with a General Purpose Aluminum Head. A terminal block is mounted in the interior of the GP Head. The Head has a ½" NPT conduit outlet. This Thermocouple assembly is also available with a 4" long stainless steel support tube for use with adjustable mounting fittings. The support tube is 1/8" larger than the sheath diameter.
Some applications include: carburizing, annealing, hardening and sintering of steel and iron products and raw materials, as well as oxidizing, reducing and inert gas furnaces, gas burners, ovens, nuclear power plants and high temperature manufacturing.
