Multifunction Control Valves find use in industrial refrigeration.

Press Release Summary:

ICF Flexline™ valve types include DN 50 (2 in.) valve with 4 modules and DN 65 (2.5 in.) valve with 3 modules. With minimized dimensions and number of welds, ICF valves accelerate and facilitate system design as well as installation. Control valve with flanges, ICV (H)A4A, is also available. Its modular design extends lifetime of existing refrigeration installation while reducing energy and service/maintenance requirements.

Danfoss to Introduce New Industrial Refrigeration Products at Inaugural Global Cold Chain Expo

Danfoss, a leading manufacturer of high-efficiency electronic and mechanical components, controls, compressors and variable frequency drives for air-conditioning, heating, refrigeration, industrial and water systems, will showcase its latest multifunction control valve innovations to more than 15,000 key decision-makers from retail, food service, processing, production, distribution, logistics, and transportation firms at the very first Global Cold Chain Expo.

At booth 1324, Danfoss will showcase its new ICF Flexline™ valve types: a DN 50 (2”) valve with four modules and a DN 65 (2.5”) valve with three modules. With their compact dimensions and minimum number of welds, the new and larger ICF valves allow for faster and easier system design and installation and significantly reduced service and operation costs.

Danfoss will also feature a new control valve with flanges – the ICV (H)A4A. The valve’s modular design extends the lifetime of any existing refrigeration installation while delivering a considerable reduction in cost, energy, and service and maintenance times. With the ICV (H)A4A control valve, Danfoss has constructed the superior alternative to all competitor common flanged control valves available today.

Additionally, Danfoss’ Terry Chapp will lead an educational session on Monday, June 20 from 2 – 2:55 p.m. at the Hilton Palmer House, entitled “Analysis of Low Charge Ammonia Systems.”

The inaugural Global Cold Chain Expo is a one-stop-shop for all cold chain needs with 25,000 square feet of trade show space featuring hundreds of exhibitors from every sector of the cold chain. It will be held June 20–22, 2016 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
