AAEON Launches the First IP-65 Sealed Multi-Purpose & Waterproof Panel PC's - FOX-150 (15" model) / FOX-120 (12" model)
Taipei Taiwan (August 04, 2008) - AAEON, a premier Industrial PC manufacturer, announces the debut of the Multi-purpose, industrial water-proof Panel PC that fits into a variety of applications & weather conditions. This series features sunlight readable touch screens, a wide view LCD, brightness-control display, and integrates the wireless LAN and GPS with internal antennas for real time data exchange and Navigation.
The FOX-150/120 adopts the Intel Low Power Celeron M Processor (up to 1.5GHz) and onboard 256/512MB system memory (up to 1Gb). For network connecting, the FOX-150/120 equips the optional Intel 82562 Ethernet chip that features 10/100Base-TX waterproof RJ-45 connector. All the connectors outside the FOX-150/120 are waterproof (M12 screw type with IP67 rating). The whole system has no ventilation hole and it is completely dust and water resistive. With a FAN-aluminum enclosure, the FOX guarantees high reliability over long periods of operation. In addition, the FOX-150/120 is an IP-65 sealed system, which allows it to be chemical washable and free from corrosion. The Streamline & Functional ID design has also increased the ability to make water dropping freely from the surface of enclosure.

The FOX-150/120 features an internal Mini PCI slot for more expansion possibilities. In addition, both of them integrate wireless LAN and GPS to be a conveniently wireless communication tool. Although the FOX-150/120 is a fanless operator panel PC, the heat spreading system is well-designed to make them highly capable in environments with wide operating temperatures.
