Entry-Level Steam Pressure Washers with Automatic Shutoff Technology
Daimer Industries® ships Super Max(TM) 6000 machines with AST®, a technology that saves time for operators of electric-powered pressure washers.
WOBURN, MA - September 4, 2009 - Daimer Industries, Inc.®, a major supplier and worldwide exporter of commercial cleaning products, introduced the Super Max(TM) 6000AST, a new line of propane-heated, electric pressure washers. The multi-mode machines can clean with cold water, hot water or wet steam and feature Automatic Shut-Off Technology(TM) (AST®), which switches off critical components after 30 seconds of inactivity.
"The budget-priced Super Max(TM) 6000 machines saves time and effort and are ideal for operators working far from the system with long hoses," said Daimer.com spokesman Matthew Baratta. "AST® shuts off the pumps and motors when the pressure washers are idle to increase the life of the machines."
What is AST®?
AST® works as follows: When activated, the technology shuts down the pump and motor after 30 seconds if the gun is not in use and water is not flowing through the system. When the pressure washer operator pulls the trigger again, the motor and pump go on.
This feature is particularly useful for situations in which the pressure washer operator is working far from the machine and it is not practical to go back and forth to turn it off during every work break. The motors and pumps in most electric pressure washers remain engaged whether or not water is flowing through the machine, which can damage the pump and motor.
New Super Max Equipment
Super Max(TM) 6000AST power washers offer pressure levels of up to 750 psi, flow rates of up to 1.4 GPM and .75 HP electric motors.
The multi-mode machines can clean with cold water, hot water between 180°F- 220°F, or wet steam with temperatures of up to 330°F. The equipment heats with propane and includes a high-pressure stainless steel heating coil. The power washers include a 30-pound propane tank. Siphon-type chemical infusion is supported.
The mobile pressure washing equipment includes: a 25-foot, high-pressure hydraulic hose; a three-foot trigger wand with quick disconnect; assorted nozzles; and a powder-coated steel, high gloss, chip/chemical resistant case.
