Baldor Adds Washdown and All Stainless Super-Es®
Baldor Electric Company, Fort Smith, Arkansas based manufacturer of energy saving industrial electric motors and drives, has added washdown and all stainless models to its Super-E® premium efficiency electric motor line.
The new Washdown Super-Es are available in TENV and TEFC enclosures from 1 HP through 20 HP in NEMA frames 56C through 256TC. They have special design and construction features for food processing and other applications that regularly expose motors to high-pressure washdown.
Baldor All Stainless Super-Es are available in TENV and TEFC enclosures from 1 HP through 7 1/2 HP in NEMA frames 56C through 213TC. All external surfaces of these motors feature 300 series stainless steel. They are designed for food processing, packaging, outdoor and highly corrosive environments. They are especially effective in environments where paint or other finishes do not hold up.
Previously, Baldor raised the efficiency levels of over 125 individual Super-E ratings and some exceed 96%. Baldor Super-E motors meet or exceed NEMA Premium(TM) efficiencies and also those established by the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) and followed by most electric utilities. In addition, all Baldor Super-Es are wound with our exclusive ISR® Inverter Spike Resistant magnet wire, making them 100 times more resistant to transient voltage spikes, high frequencies, and short-rise time pulses commonly produced by inverters. This makes Baldor Super-E motors even more reliable when used with inverters.
