communication solutions through an interactive and educational showcase of new
products. With a focus on delivering seamless mobility for mission critical
users, real-time video, biometrics and other applications will be wirelessly

New public safety technology and solutions to be unveiled at APCO:

Mobile Office for Government solutions

Mobile Office for Government solutions are applications, devices, networks
and services that allow first responders and government agencies to turn
patrol cars and other vehicles into virtual offices. Mobile Office for
Government extends field presence and personnel accountability, delivering
remote and mobile access to critical data. Crucial video and data information
can be shared rapidly. Motorola's extensive network solutions provide users
with access to databases they use back at headquarters, even while moving at
highway speeds.

Intelligent Video solutions featuring Mobile Video Sharing

Intelligent Video solutions is a growing suite of video applications and
equipment that provide first responders with mission critical information both
in the field and en-route to an incident response.

Users gain video information necessary for quicker response and better
decision making during an incident, increasing safety for responding personnel
and the community. Motorola's Intelligent Video solutions provide
capabilities in the following areas: surveillance, recording, management,
analytics, archiving, video access and delivery, video-enabled applications,
and streaming video.

Mobile Video Sharing, the newest edition to the Intelligent Video
solutions suite, combines streaming video feeds from Motorola's Mobile Video
Enforcer (MVE) and Intelligent Video Surveillance and Control (iVSC) offerings
into one application designed for one-click sharing with a designated user
group. Optimized for wireless mobile environments, Mobile Video Sharing
allows users to send and receive high-quality video providing greater
situational awareness and improved first responder safety.

Event Management solutions

Event Management solutions combine easily deployable applications,
devices, and networks into a functional solution that enables rapid
information sharing with broadband access to databases, attendee lists,
Internet, video surveillance, and other mission critical applications. Using
MOTOMESH, Motorola's multi-radio broadband mesh network solution leveraging
the licensed 4.9GHz public safety frequency and/or the unlicensed 2.4GHz radio
band, the Motorola Event Management solution gives incident commanders mobile
access to the pre-emptive intelligence necessary to keep attendees secure,
resulting in a safer and more enjoyable experience.

These comprehensive mission critical, incident command and law enforcement
solutions will be showcased at APCO in Motorola's seamless broadband command
vehicle running over a MOTOMESH wireless network. Broadband internet
connectivity, live video and remote database access is provided to all
passengers in the command vehicle, even at highway speeds. While stationary,
the seamless broadband command vehicle becomes a Wi-Fi hotspot and large host
of monitoring and analytical tools that can be utilized at an incident site by
command personnel.

Additionally, Motorola introduces the Motorola Application Developer
Program. In order to offer the widest range of validated applications to
Motorola MOTOMESH customers, and to further extend the value of their wireless
data network, the Motorola Application Developer Program tests developer
applications to ensure compatibility with the Motorola MOTOMESH network.
Applications that have been successfully tested on the Motorola MOTOMESH
wireless broadband network are awarded the "MOTOMESH Ready" mark for use in
their communications. Providing complementary and compatible technology
offering for customers of all sizes further demonstrates Motorola's commitment
to open, standards-based network architecture that is able to support a
variety of applications. Visit

"The development of robust broadband data solutions and programs
demonstrate Motorola's continued commitment to providing public safety and
government users with the most comprehensive and reliable products for mission
critical communications," said Nick Rendone, vice president, Data Solutions
Operation, Motorola Networks & Enterprise. "Seamless mobility, event
management and video surveillance capabilities have become vital tools for our
public safety customers. We are excited to offer an end-to-end product
portfolio that enhances the safety and effectiveness of first responders."

Motorola's complete portfolio of mission critical communications
solutions and seamless broadband command vehicle will be showcased at Booth
#842, Aug. 6-10 during this year's APCO conference at the Orange County
Convention Center West Building in Orlando, Fla.
