CAD Sciences Introduces an Advanced Suite of 3D Motion Correction (MC) Algorithms for MRI CAD

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Aug. 1 -- CAD Sciences, the technology leader in MRI-CAD for breast, prostate and other organs, announces the release of an advanced suite of robust, proprietary and organ-customized Motion Correction (MC) algorithms that expand on the existing MC capabilities that have been embedded in CAD Sciences' products since their commercial launch. The new MC suite represents a significant upgrade in MC processing as compared to competitive solutions and was developed through a combination of innovative new algorithm creation and modification of existing technologies by CAD Sciences' scientific team. The MC suite is optimized for specific scanning applications which include, among others, breast MRI, prostate MRI, lung CT and lung MRI.

Jan Mintorovitch, Chief Scientific Officer of CAD Sciences, comments, "Unlike other competing MC technologies on the market that offer a single solution for all processing situations, CAD Sciences' MC suite, consisting of the Linear MC, Flex MC and Flow MC algorithms, offers tools that are optimized and separately applicable to scanning situations within the same organ or disease." These include fat-sat and non fat-sat breast MRI, prostate MRI, lung imaging and other time-sensitive workflow situations.

Andreas Muehler, President of CAD Sciences, adds, "The expansion of our motion correction capability further differentiates CAD Sciences' products in the marketplace and accentuates our technology leadership in CAD. This new MC suite also demonstrates our desire to provide our customers with the best possible and tailored solutions to enhance their clinical practice."

About CAD Sciences:

Founded in March 2002 and formerly known as 3TP Imaging Sciences, CAD Sciences is the technology leader in the advancement of computer-assisted modeling of contrast enhancement in MR imaging of cancer. From its base in White Plains, NY, the Company designs and internationally distributes certain intellectual property in CAD (Computer Assisted Diagnosis) and MRA (Magnetic Resonance Angiography) software for medical imaging. The Company's Server2(TM) and CADvue(TM) software platforms are currently used by radiologist customers to facilitate the analysis, interventional planning and reporting of breast and prostate MRI. Together these products automate MRI image processing and provide higher quality imaging studies, lower facility costs, increased revenue streams for radiology practices as well as improved analysis and reporting tools for physicians.
