We are proud to announce AAEON's first long life micro-ATX motherboard, the MB-845GE, powered by your choice of Intel Pentium 4 processors. This full-featured motherboard answers the need for a relatively low-cost motherboard coupled with long product life and the level of tech support normally found only with embedded products.
The MB-845GE successfully employs Intel's advanced 82845GE chipset, which supports high CPU frequencies up to 3.06 GHz with the front side bus running at 400MHz or 533MHz. The board also provides high memory capacities up to 2 GB DDR SDRAM (PC1600/2100/2700) with two sockets. Two IDE channels support two devices per channel and handle UDMA66 or 100 devices.
The board's full function design includes such features as a chipset integrated 2D/3D graphics engine with AGP 4X bandwidth, a slot for an optional AGP 4X graphics card, (3) PCI v2.2 slots, (1) each keyboard and mouse mini-DIN connectors, (1) 10/100Mb Ethernet port, Audio Line-in, Line-out and Mic-in connectors, (6) built-in USB 2.0 ports, (2) COM ports and (1) parallel port.
The MB-845GE also carries onboard system monitoring which covers 8 external voltage inputs, (1) CPU temperature sensor and (2) fan speed (CPU and system) monitors with on/off control while in Suspend mode. Other onboard connectors include IrDA, Wake On LAN, Wake On Modem, CD-in, AUX-in, Mono-in, a front panel audio connector, a 15-pin D-Sub game connector and a Smart Card Reader connector.
Our board engineers specified high impedance long life electrolytic capacitors, gold plating on all connectors, extra components to ensure operational stability and have chosen components to allow long-term production.
