Montavue releases cutting edge 4K cameras that record at an industry leading 30 frames-per-second/real-time
MISSOULA, MONT. (PRWEB) SEPTEMBER 04, 2018 - Montavue has just launched their newest most advanced IP surveillance camera line. They are one of the first companies in their industry to offer 4K IP surveillance cameras that record in real-time at 30 frames-per-second. Most of the competition's 4K cameras on the market are only capable of recording at 15-20 frames-per-second, resulting in blurry images with movement. At 30 frames-per-second, these camera are a step above, and provide superior resolution with quick movement.
The new 4K IP cameras will be available in two different styles, both bullet and vandal dome. The MTB8110 4K IP bullet camera will feature extended infrared night vision capabilities, with the ability to see up to 200ft at night. The MTD8110 4K IP vandal dome camera will have less night vision capabilities but it will feature a vandal proof glass covered lens with a sturdy IK10 rating.
Montavue launched nearly two years ago. “For the past couple years, we have been growing at a very steady and sustainable rate,” said VP of Operations, Hank Vieten. “With the release of our new pro series 4K cameras we are showing we are ready to make a push and lead the market,” continued Vieten.
Montavue plans on selling these cameras as single add-on cameras as well as in full packages. The new Pro Series MTD8110, and MTB8110 will both feature an expansive 112° field of view as well as advanced intelligent video surveillance (IVS) features such as tripwire, motion detection and intrusion.
“Although we could charge a premium for these cameras, we wanted to keep the price of our pro series cameras in line with the competition's 4K systems, even though they outperform the competition's by a wide margin in terms of specs,” said President Cody Gordon. The new pro series 4K cameras will be fully compatible with any of the future-proof NVRs that Montavue has released in the past. “We knew the future of the industry was going to be these 4K cameras that can record in real time (30FPS), so we wanted to make sure all of our customers would be able to enjoy these spectacular cameras no matter when they purchased their system.”
These cameras are easy enough to install for the DIY'er, but also have robust features for even the most advanced integrators and installers. These cameras look clean and have a nice white finish that fit in commercial or residential applications, and will provide incredible video surveillance for any customer.
