Motech Americas Introduces XS+ series with Leading Power Levels of 265 and 320 Watts and Module Efficiency of 16.5%

New Monocrystalline Module to be introduced at Solar Power International with power yields that drive revenues

NEWARK, Del. -- Motech Americas, LLC, the PV module engineering center of excellence for the sixth largest cell manufacturer in the world, Motech Industries, is producing some of the most powerful modules in the industry by introducing the new, XS+ series of monocrystalline modules.  Motech is proud to announce the addition to its product line in response to requests from their large worldwide customer base of PV developers, installers and integrators. The release of the XS60+ and XS72+ series complements Motech's IM60+ and IM72+ series with 260W for a 60 cell module and 310W for a 72 cell module on a multicrystalline platform.

All modules have positive tolerance of 0 to 4.99 Watts. The improved module design provides flexibility for solar installers and developers. The Plus series is available in multiple frame thicknesses, 600 or 1000 volt junction box with MC4 compatible or Tyco Solarlok connectors.  In addition, the new modules are both trade compliant and ARRA compliant with a 25 year linear progressive warranty.

"This new 320W module with an efficiency of 16.5% is exactly what our customers have been asking for. The flexibility of mounting sizes and improved design will lower system and installation costs, while increasing yield for our customers," said Derick Botha, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Motech Americas.  Increased power and efficiencies and of course focus on quality and reliability helps drive revenue for developers, installers and investors."

Like Motech Americas entire U.S. product portfolio, the new XS+ Series, manufactured in Delaware, is not subject to the recent U.S. import tariffs imposed on solar cells produced in China.

The new XS+ Series is available now and will be on display at the Motech Industries booth # 3511 at Solar Power International (SPI) in Orlando, Florida, from September 10th to September 14th.
