Intonix Smart Filter Monitoring System Provides 24/7 Multi-Point Monitoring of Equipment and Process via Ethernet Connection

ROSEVILLE, MINN. - Today's sophisticated industrial and manufacturing companies want "smart" monitoring systems that can provide warning of potential equipment or process failure and respond quickly and proactively at any time of day or night. The solution - the new Intonix Smart Filter Monitoring System.

"Routine inspections and regular maintenance do not cut it anymore, nor do monitors and sensors that lack the ability to compare real-time active acoustic or vibration signals to learned normal operating profiles," says Derrick Alcock, sales and marketing manager for Intonix Corporation. "The Intonix Smart Filter Monitoring System is an affordable solution for manufacturers who want to prevent downtime and catastrophic breakdowns, and maximize manpower."

The Intonix Smart Filter Monitoring System features smart filter acoustic and vibration modules and computer-based software for multi-point, 24/7 monitoring of rotating and non-rotating equipment and plant processes via Ethernet connection.

The Intonix system uses easily programmable Windows-based software that can learn upper and lower digital signal boundaries - within 96-1/12 octave bands - from as many as 30 modules in remote and difficult locations. The system compares and displays learned and current operating signatures, and alerts operators when deviations are outside adjustable warning and danger limits.

The software allows users to change select learned signatures, select spectrum bands to be monitored, view active spectrums and signatures, and save spectrum data at time and event intervals for analysis.
