Bloomfield, CT March 19, 2003..mk Automation, Inc. announces the introduction of a versatile line of Workstations for a wide range of assembly, manufacturing and quality control applications. Ergonomically designed to enhance worker performance, mk Workstations utilize standard mk Profile components, modular construction that ensures rapid delivery as well as provides greater flexibility to build custom units. Product features include extremely rigid desk construction, manual or electronically adjustable table heights to accommodate standing or sitting tasks, along with a variety of work surfaces--aluminum, laminated, multilayered wood, butcher block or available custom surfaces to suit specific product assembly or component manufacturing tasks. T-slots accessible from the top and sides are available for attachment of additional equipment or components. Standard Workstation surface load capacity is up to 650 lbs.
Workstations can be equipped with a range of easy access front or side shelving configurations for bin holders, tool storage trays, and hold pc monitors or other data collection devices and more. A variety of drawer arrangements under work surface permit handy operator access and additional workstation storage capacity. Sturdy construction easily accommodates overhead tool holders for reduced operator fatigue. Electrical or pneumatic connections are built in with switches and lights positioned for maximum effectiveness and control. Several mk Workstations can be interlocked for cellular configuration or integrated along conveyors lines in high production operations.
