Original Press Release:
OEM Light Detector/Amplifier
Gigahertz-Optik's MDE-37 series modular light detectors with integrated amplifier are designed as an OEM part configured to end-user specifications for UV, Visible or Near Infrared optical radiation monitoring applications.
Its rugged black anodized aluminum sensor housing with threaded hole for mounting measures only 37 mm diameter x 20 mm high includes a cosine diffuser input optic. The sensor can be sealed for waterproof operation as well.
Photodiode type, size and optical filtering are selected according to application (photometric, UV-Vis-NIR radiometric, PAR, Laser) and associated min./max. light signal levels. Temperature stabilization and other control options like connector type are available.
An integrated fixed gain current to voltage amplifier mounted inside the detector housing provides a maximum output voltage of +/- 4.5 V with an operating voltage of + 5 V.
Each detector is calibrated and certified by Gigahertz-Optik's ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory (Reg. No. DKD-K-10601).
The MDE-37 detector prices are application and quantity dependent.
