New Modular Gas Panels With Built-in High Purity Regulators Increase Flexibility of Gas Delivery In The Laboratory

Plumsteadville, PA-Scott Specialty Gases has introduced their Model 57 Modular Gas Panels to make it easier than ever to control specialty gases at point-of-use when the gas source is located in a remote location. Snap-in panels control gas pressure, purity, filtration and distribution-all from a single, convenient location. Any combination of pressure regulators, purifiers, moisture traps and outlet valves can be configured to meet virtually any laboratory requirements.

Leak-free, modular design provides the flexibility to meet existing and future laboratory requirements while reducing installation and maintenance costs. Model 57MPG units can be wall or bench-mounted, or even suspended from a ceiling. Individual panels quickly snap into a prefabricated, expandable metal frame and are easily connected to the primary gas supply with flexible, stainless steel tubing.

Pressure control panels feature a high-purity regulator with gauge and will support two outlets with individual shutoff valves. Purification panels provide protection against contaminants in the gas supply. Moisture and hydrocarbon traps are available. Delivery panels feature up to five outlets with shutoff valves and can accommodate multiple gas service. Panel components are available in stainless steel for use with corrosive gases, or brass for use with noncorrosive applications. All panels are tested and cleaned before shipping to assure purity for all types of specialty gas applications. Each gas is labeled with an appropriate NFPA hazard label, CAS registry number, UN and DOT classifications.
