MONTREAL, Quebec, April 30, 2007 - Octasic, the voice quality experts, today announced the release of SoftEcho for Mobile Phones. Equipped with Windows Embedded technology, SoftEcho will dramatically improve the call quality for mobile manufacturers and softphones running the Windows Mobile operating system, particularly evident when in hands-free mode.

Octasic's algorithm results in seamless transition from handset to speaker mode with no tweaking required. SoftEcho's unique auto-tuning feature allows the product to adjust to any set-up, be it speaker, handset, or Bluetooth. In contrast, poor echo solutions will actually cause a degradation of voice quality over time.
