Retsch's New Mixer Mill MM 301 Offers Milling Solutions
Retsch introduces its newest Mixer Mill, the MM 301 that is particularly suited for dry and wet grinding of small quantities, as well as mixing and homogenizing powders and suspensions. A special feature of the MM 301 is its quick-action clamp on the grinding jar, which ensures easy handling during replacement of the grinding jars and optimizes reproducibility of the sample preparations. Higher sample throughput can be
achieved due to the short duration of the grinding process and two grinding sites. The enlarged swinging radius of the MM 301 allows faster and finer grinding results.
An assortment of new screw-top grinding jars is available in 25 ml, 35 ml and 50 ml sizes. With the adapter racks, up to 20 safe-lock reactions can be processed at a time. The clamps will also accommodate deep-well plates. The larger grinding jars allow bigger batch sizes to be ground and a larger size grain to be
processed. The screw-top grinding jars with ergonomic grips are easy to fill, store, and transport.
