MISA Selects Aim Enterprise

Manufacturing Intelligence Software for North American Blanking Facilities

Chicago, Ill., September 6, 2006 - Aim Analytical LLC has announced it has been awarded a new contract for its AIM Enterprise manufacturing intelligence software from Tier One automotive supplier MISA (Marubeni-Itochu Steel America). AIM Enterprise will be installed on one blanking line at MISA Metal Blanking (Howell, Mich.) and one line at MISA Metal Blanking (Birmingham, Alabama). The software will be used to monitor plant floor production. Full implementation of the AIM Enterprise software is expected by Aug 2006.

AIM Enterprise allows a manufacturer to know -- in real time -- equipment status, maintenance requirements, efficiencies and productivity levels on every machine in any plant. It collects plant floor information and organizes it into reports that can help manufacturers eliminate bottlenecks and positively impact production. A key differentiator of AIM is its ability to merge this plant floor information into the corporate structure through the intranet or Internet featuring a web-based Dashboard that allows users to access information from any PC, anytime, anywhere in the world. Its open architecture and use of industry standard practices allow it to seamlessly integrate with a company's current ERP and MIS systems, leveraging the existing IT investments.

DaimlerChrysler, Ford, General Motors, Toyota, and Nissan, as well as many Tier One automotive suppliers currently use AIM software. For more information on AIM Analytical software solutions, visit www.aim-analytical.com.
