Dejay produces these precision miniature parts from a brass alloy material. The parts shown in the attached photo serve as a swivel end fitting on a metal hose designed for conveying a gas. The outside dimensions of the parts measure 1.350 inches long with a 0.370 inch maximum diameter shaft and a .028 inch diameter thru hole. The dimensions of the parts are held to ±0.005 inch with some critical dimensions held to one thousandth of an inch (0.001 inch). There is a 5/16 - 24UNF thread cut on a portion of the shaft. The final machined parts have a uniform smooth finish suitable for nickel or chrome plating. The tiny parts shown in the enclosed photo are shown positioned next to a common one cent piece for size comparison.
