Specifically designed for the backlighting of large flat panel displays, it is the world's longest small-diameter CCFL lamp.

It also offers designers the benefits of extremely stable electrical and optical characteristics, cool operation, minimal weight, and shock and vibration resistance of over 100Gs.
These design characteristics have the added benefit of extending operating times between charges when used in battery-powered devices. They also provide optional brightness variability for easy readability in both interior and daylight environments.
